FILTERED: WHAT DOES LOVE LOOK LIKE?

GROUP EXHIBITION

FEBRUARY / MARCH 2014

About the Exhibition

What does look like? It is universal, timeless, tyet also entirely indivudal, filtered by our own lives and expectations; feeling and appearing differently for each of us.

Important artists from coast to coast responded with unique works of art that came to fruition through the personal filters and distinct talents of each. The 'answers' are meaningful, intelligent, pwerful, truthful, current, legitimate and connected.

Love is a fundamental energy in the universe, and so to celebrate this authentic exhibition, we asked each artist to examine their perception of 'what love looks like' within the framework of the Golden Proportion – known also as the Golden Ratio or Divine Proportion. Its ubiquity and astounding functionality in nature suggest its importance as an integral thread of the universe, captivating artists, mathematicians and scientists for centuries. The featured arists readily embraced this requirement of sacred geometry.
